BLUVIEW CREATIVE
Visionary Leadership & Empathetic Ideation
A PEACEFUL LAGOON, GENTLE WATERFALLS, AND THE CARIBBEAN OCEAN BREEZE ACCOMPANY YOU AS YOU SAVOR THE SURF AND TURF AT THE SUNSET GRILLE.
bluView cooked up a branding strategy that would sail across oceans, entice europeans, and spice up the imagination of award winning chefs.
CROSS POLLINATION
bluView began by creating space for multiple departments to break down barriers and offer input. The result was a harmony of flavors that refreshed the palate.
Providing an atmosphere rich in experimentation and inviting new stakeholders to the table evokes an appetite for risk evolves
With a designer's eye, an environmentalist's concern, and the enthusiasm of a first time traveler; bluview re-approached the menu and the talent. By spending time listening to the personal stories of the culinary team and providing an environment of free exploration the menu took on a more intimate essence and awoke deep creative passions.
As the Sommelier says, “Sometimes you just need to cleanse your palette and something unexpected will grab you.”
ELEVATING EXPECTATIONS
Sometimes your gut tells you to pursue something new, push the boundaries, activate everyone in a new way. You see potential that has been buried in routine or left undernourished.
The Sunset Grille team was ready to be introduced to new opportunities. Instead of reworking the menu, we inspired the chefs to re-imagine their unique contributions and global impact.
The results were stunning and delicious. They whipped up appearances at the James Beard House, infused the menu with new energy, and put decadence back into Caribbean cuisine.

CHAOS CURATION
It takes decisive editing to carve the genius out of the chaos.
Intentional change is lead by healthy and positive friction and active participation in brainstorming new ideas. Allow room for the process of trial and error; something brilliant always emerges. It takes professional courage to pioneer a new business landscape the elevates impact.
Through hands on experimentation and prototyping, an environment for uncensored exploration evolves. An angry lobster fought his way to freedom, a food fight revealed a new flavor combination, and a snorkeling trip triggered a social impact mission. Everyone felt ownership and zest for the process with devotion to the final product and services.
Tortuga Aruba continues to save turtle nesting habitats. Sunset Grille brings decadence to the island escape.
ANTHROPOLOGIST
Fresh water is scarce!
The island grows little besides aloe and offshore banking.
Product orders only arrive once a week; given no weather or custom delays. And the labor protections the country offers it's citizens allow a flexible interpretation of a "working day."
Working in new countries is always a great way to rethink and renew. It shifts our rigid perspective and opens our tool box up to new solutions.
Logistics, people, even time, all have to be re-learned with kindness and curiosity. It is invigorating to the creative spirit.
A growth mindset harvests opportunities for innovation. Devious salad eating iguanas, plastic straw covered beaches, and a postal service without addresses all have untapped potential. Productivity is the abandoned work set as the crew runs for the ocean to watch a nest of baby turtles first emerge and reach for the ocean - an experience that gave new life to us all.
